Koigu Premium Merino (affectionately called KPM) Solid colors are pure hand-painted beauty! Each fingering-weight skein holds 175 yards to knit or crochet with and is made of 100% Merino Wool.
The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue, and saturation, even within the same dye batch. Each dye lot is painted individually, and then heat is applied to fix the dyes. Dye lots are rinsed and hung on rods to dry.
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations that cause colors to vary from skein to skein. As this is a natural part of the process, please note there may be differences between the yarn images shown and the yarn received. Therefore, we encourage buying enough yarn for the entire project at the same time. You can always call the shop for color verification.
