Manos del Uruguay is a special brand of hand spun & dyed artisan yarns that supports rural Uruguayan women. Manos is a non-profit organization that was founded to give women jobs, allowing them to be independent & support their families while being able to live in their home villages.
Soft & velvety Franca is a single-ply, roving style yarn that knits up quickly for warm ponchos, accessories & outerwear. The hand dyed tonal, speckle & variegated colorways provide plenty of options & inspiration.

As this is a natural part of the process, please note there may be differences between the yarn images shown and the yarn received.
